Reedsburg Ambulance has a continuous Part-Time/Paid-On Call Non-Benefit EMS Position openings year round for all levels.
Job posting announcement
When a Fulltime job opportunity becomes available, Reedsburg Ambulance will post the opportunity on its own website as well as on various regional and industry-specific websites. Job opportunity announcements may also be made through professional associations. Applicants must complete the official application out here
Applications reviewed
The Director and if applicable, the hiring board, reviews all applications that are submitted before the deadline and that meet the requirements set forth in the job posting announcement. Applicants must validate their eligibility by including copies of all required credentials as well as preferred credentials as appropriate.
Invitation to assess
Select applicants will be invited to complete an assessment process which may include:
- Evaluation of EMS skills and narrative writing
Candidates will participate in a hands-on scenario of a fictional incident using a manikin and common EMS equipment. Skill competency will be demonstrated through hands-on use of EMS equipment following National Registry guidelines. - Panel interview
Candidates will be provided the opportunity to showcase themselves and demonstrate their aptitudes and attitudes in an interview with a panel of EMS Providers of all levels and and management.
Notification of results
A Reedsburg Ambulance Captain or the Director will notify all candidates of the results of their assessment process

The highest performing candidates may be offered the opportunity to begin working for Reedsburg Ambulance at the next orientation date. - With Appreciation
Some candidates will be thanked for their interest and participation. They may not be afforded further consideration at the current hiring process, but may be invited to apply again in the future.
