Applications reviewed
The Director and if applicable, the hiring board, review all applications that are submitted and that meet the requirements set forth in the job posting announcement. Applicants must validate their eligibility by including copies of all required credentials as well as preferred credentials as appropriate.

Invitation to assess
Select applicants will be invited to complete an assessment process, which may include:

• Evaluation of EMS skills and a station tour if needed. 
  Candidates will participate in skill competency will be demonstrated through hands-on use of EMS equipment following National Registry guidelines.
• Panel interview with FT and PT staff
  Candidates will be provided the opportunity to showcase themselves and demonstrate their aptitudes and attitudes in an interview with a panel of EMS Providers of all levels and management.
• Invite to Ride

          If you are chosen to move forward, a ride along invite will be offered, if you have not done any recent ride time with the EMS Service.

• Offer of Position

Notification of results
A Reedsburg Ambulance Captain or the Director will notify all candidates of the results of their assessment process
